§ 05.3 – TICKET PRICING
Four ways in
We use a solidarity pricing model. All players get the same experience regardless of tier, and no one at the game knows what anyone else paid.
// TIER 01
Supporter
255 €
For those in a position to help make this game accessible. Your ticket funds a reduced spot for a player who otherwise couldn’t attend. Thank you.
// TIER 02
Standard
175 €
The recommended tier for most players. Covers the full cost of your participation – venue, food, materials, and volunteer care.
// TIER 03
Warden
110 €
A baseline reduction in price for the players of Wardens, as the role comes with increased offgame responsibilities and preparation time.
// TIER 04
Reduced
95 €
For anyone for whom cost would be the reason you couldn’t attend, young people and students. 5 are available as a baseline, with more made available for each Supporter ticket. Request during signup – no explanation needed.
§ 05.4 – AGE AND ACCESSIBILITY
Who can attend
// AGE REQUIREMENT
18 and older
Alters explores themes of institutional control, loss of autonomy, and moral ambiguity. The default minimum age is 18 – this reflects the emotional weight of the game, not any inappropriate content.
// DISPENSATION
Between 16 and 18?
We consider dispensation on a case-by-case basis. If you’re between 16 and 18 and want to attend, reach out to us before signing up.
You can write us at: altersorganiserz@gmail.com
Players aged 16-17 will be presented for the rest of the game as minors, and feature no romantic play with other characters.
§ 05.5 – WHAT TO WEAR
Costume expectations
Costume at Alters is deliberately understated. This is a modern institutional setting – the aesthetic is uniforms, workwear, and quiet functional clothing. Everything you need can likely be found in your wardrobe or thrifted for very little.
// BRING / WEAR
- For Alter uniforms: Simple, black clothing - shirts, sweaters, pants and shoes
- For Alters off-duty: Your characters everyday clothing
- For Wardens: Simple white/grey clothing
- Discreet sportswear (preferably black/white)
- Comfortable shoes suitable for indoor walking and standing
- A functional watch (no smartwatches during play)
- Warm layers - the venue can be cool at night
// AVOID
- Bright colors, flashy patterns, or heavily branded clothing
- Complex jewelry or elaborate makeup
- Visible modern technology (phones are not allowed to be visible during play)
- Uniforms from real-world military or law enforcement
If you’re unsure whether something works, ask us. We’re happy to help you figure out what to bring.
§ 05.6 – ON SITE
Where you'll sleep and eat
Sleeping arrangements
You’ll share a room with your Squad. Six players in shared dormitory-style accommodation. Bedding is provided. Personal privacy is limited by design.
Dormitories are mixed between genders, with limited offgame control of who you share a room with.
Food and dietary needs
All meals are included from Thursday dinner through Monday breakfast. Food will be vegetarian as a baseline, with meat on the side. We also accommodate vegan diets and common allergies. Let us know in the casting form and we’ll take care of it.
Facilities
Full modern facilities – showers, toilets, common areas. The venue is fully heated. There’s an out-of-character quiet room available at all times for anyone who needs space.

Storytelling has always been a huge part of me. I’ve larped since I was 13, and have the past few years really embraced it by trying everything the community has to offer. Now I finally felt it was time to give back and organize my first larp, creating a story that I would love to play myself.
Besides organizing, I begin studying my Bachelor’s in Game Design and Learning Technology this summer: I also spend a ridiculous amount of time playing Larps. Fun fact: as of writing this, 25% of my 2026 has been used on larp. (I need a break, I know). You will often find me sewing or programming, and now and then, actually playing video games, preferably with my partner.
// ORGANIZER 02
Christian Kierans
Head of: Characters, Game Design, Website.
I have been Larping for most of my life by now, and have toyed with the idea of alters for 5+ years. I played a truly ridiculous amount of mutant-live chamber larps at my boardings school Østerskov Efterskole, and always wondered if we couldnt tell these kinds of stories in a different way than misery porn and convoluted powersets.
Apart from Larp as a fulltime(ish) hobby, I study a masters of Rhetoric in Copenhagen, do a bit of photography (yup, those are all my pictures on the site), and enjoy dancing wildly with my partner whenever the chance presents itself.
// IN COOPERATION WITH
ROLLESPILSFABRIKKEN
Alters is run in cooperation with Rollespilsfabrikken. They provide organizational infrastructure, economic support, props, vehicles, and a community of LARPers to draw from.
